Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Counseling, or related fields.
  • At least two years in child protection services or domestic violence prevention.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills. Multilingual abilities in German or Spanish are advantageous.
  • Must pass DoD background checks.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • A minimum of 24 hours in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, Public Administration and/or Public Health.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the point of contact for family wellness promotion programs, focusing on improving the health and well-being of Soldiers, Army Civilians, and their families.
  • Synchronize and support the execution of family wellness promotion programs.
  • Review and standardize policies, procedures, command briefings, and provider training related to family advocacy.
  • Monitor, document, and follow up on child abuse/neglect cases.
  • Facilitate and coordinate family advocacy support and education programs.
