Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
Create and evaluate feature integration plans in Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) architecture for Energy & Drive Quality (E&DQ) domain features such as Battery Electric Vehicle Harmonized Enhanced Active Thermal Management System (bevHEAT), Active Aero Range Extension (ARS), Diesel Engine After Run (DEAR), and Internal Combustion Engine Harmonized Enhanced Active Thermal Management System (iceHEAT) in Vehicle Integrated Control Module (VICM) and Integrated Chassis Control Module (ICCM) and Engine Control Module (ECM). Create, execute, and evaluate manual and automated test plans and test cases for conventional ICE and diesel passenger vehicle and Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) applications from system feature integration perspective focusing on Energy and Drive Quality (E&DQ) domain features. Review, analyze and debug Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs),Parameter Identifiers (PIDs), and Data Identifiers (DIDs) over Controller Area Network (CAN), Local Interconnect Network (LIN) and Automotive Ethernet communication protocols, for current and future model year ICE and BEV programs and global markets (North America, China), to meet vehicle specific electrical architecture, system, security, safety and encoding requirements.
ADDITIONAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, or related. Twenty-four months’ experience as Engineer. Must also have experience with analyzing and debugging Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs), Parameter Identifiers (PIDs), and Data Identifiers (DIDs) over Controller Area Network (CAN) and Local Interconnect Network (LIN) communication protocols, for current and future model year vehicle programs and global markets.
