Accountabilities:
As a Federal National Oncology Account Director, you will lead and advocate for Federal System strategic and tactical planning activities. You will optimize product market share, assist with contract implementation, develop business relationships with key stakeholders, and provide strategic input to cross-functional partners. You will also engage with Federal Pharmacy KOLs, communicate health economic data to decision makers, ensure alignment with brand strategy, and provide customer field insight to advise strategic decisions.
Essential Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years experience working in the VA/Federal Channel
- 5 Years of People Management Experience
- Understanding of pharmacy and patient journey within the VA and DoD
- Ability to understand customer specific needs and identify resources and opportunities
- Proven proficiency in translating clinical outcomes and health economic data into customer value
- Strong networking skills and ability to build avenues for access among restricted accounts
- Proven proficiency in Oncology clinical science
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with and influence peers and cross-functional team
- Willingness to travel. Travel can be 75%+ depending on location
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- MBA or advanced degree
- 7 years prior experience in oncology
- Prior experience in a pharma commercial B2B function within market access
- Min 5 years of pharma and/or other healthcare related account management experience
- Demonstrated experience building impactful teams
- Demonstrated negotiating capabilities
- Experience developing and mentoring others within the organization
