We are looking for a young minded enthusiastic *Female Support Worker who can enable our young 28-year-old women in her fully equipped home in the St Austell area to experience all that life can offer.
You will provide high quality support, would play an active role in enabling the young women, who has a wonderful, happy personality with a very varied range of activities from therapy sessions to attending live music, shows, holidays and everything in between!

A Full driving licence and own car is essential - mileage paid from home to the Clients home return

• Please note we are recruiting Female Support Workers due to a genuine occupational requirement of the person we support therefore this role is exempt from the Equality Act 2010 Part 1 Schedule 9

• Assist the client to exercise choice and control over their own lives as far as they are able in everyday matters but taking into consideration cognitive problems
• Liaise with and support the family as required
• Assist the client to ensure an adequate level of hygiene is maintained
• Supporting the client to use local amenities such as shops and leisure facilities and attend community events
• Follow the service user plan as documented for the client
• Maintain accurate and confidential records
• Participate in manual handling procedures as specified for the client
• Maintain professional boundaries with the client and their family members, adhering to direction from the case manager as appropriate
