Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) is a global player in the automotive industry and is represented in 25 countries, operating 77 sites, with 7 R&D centres and employs 21 500 employees worldwide. FCM South Africa is looking for a FES & P Graduate to be based at our plant in Port Elizabeth.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

The ideal graduate will have/be:

• 3-year National Diploma or B-Tech in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
• Computer literacy at Intermediate level essential
• Have a sound understanding of Work study principles and Work measurement tools.
• A detail orientated person with analytical abilities and a structured and methodological way. Dynamic and proactive behaviour.
• 70% overall achievement on full academic results.
• Age between 18-35
• Never been registered with the Y.E.S Youth Program before.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

The Yes Graduate will be responsible to establish and improve work standards and process flows.

As the FES & P graduate, your main responsibilities are as follow:

• Experience in setting up standards and implementing the required performance measures.
• Maintain site layouts, operational warehouse layouts to remain current and updated with all new changes to ensure sound work practices.
• Analysing and improving key business processes, work measurement, operational design, and layout
• Feasibility studies which include data gathering and presenting the data to management in a well-structured report and presentation.
• Application of Industrial Engineering principles, lean methods, and techniques & FES Principles
• Increase operating efficiencies and achieve potential costs saving initiatives.
• Provide implementing planning and tracking support.
• To support FES Deployment in Production.
• To support FES &P in launch & roll out Kanban pull systems
