We are seeking a Finishing Specialist with either autobody or marine finishing experience.
The Finishing Specialist responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of the finishing process for Dayton-Granger’s parts, including sanding, buffing and masking products prior to sanding or painting.
- Remove mask and touch-up painted surfaces prior to presentation to quality inspection.
- Buffing or polishing any imperfection on units to meet our workmanship and industry standards for parts finishing.
- Assigned other tasks by management.
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies .
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work well in a team environment•
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and information
- Must have experience with all areas related to the processes of sanding and filling
- The employee may occasionally be required to reach with hands, arms and move objects up to 25 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
