Responsibilities:

Reporting to an experienced and passionate Maintenance Manager, you will inspire, engage and lead the Field Maintenance team in Maintaining Draglines and critical surface infrastructure, as well as associated ancillary equipment to maximise availability and productivity. The position is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of the approved maintenance plans for Draglines, High Voltage and Low Voltage infrastructure, Water and Sewage treatment plants, pumps and fire systems.

Your role will be varied and interesting and will include:

  • Managing a team of skilled trades whilst driving alignment with Coronado’s values that prioritises both professional excellence and adherence to the company’s principles.
  • Working closely with the broader operations and maintenance teams to optimise availability, maintain operating efficiency, build effective maintenance teams.
  • Dynamically participate and drive the plan through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Administer contracts associated with Field maintenance.
  • Actively review plans and provide feedback on risk to achieving planned outcomes.
  • Work with the Planning and Operations Teams to realise best value business outcomes.
  • Contribute to the establishment and commitment to longer-term goals and actively manage risk for the Field Team.
  • Deliver and maintain work management processes and documentation in compliance with Curragh’s frameworks and standards.
  • Manage maintenance activities, deliver against agreed targets and schedules, while monitoring and reporting on progress and variances to plan.
