We are currently searching for a Field Construction Technologist to join the Technical Services team in our Edmonton office.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring the Contractor’s operations to ensure compliance with contract terms, design specifications, and drawings.
  • Monitoring progress and schedules.
  • Preparing weekly & daily reports.
  • Maintaining projects records and site diaries.
  • Reviewing contractor work procedure submissions.
  • Monitoring of quality control testing.
  • Reviewing on-site quantities.
  • The option to pursue opportunities for growth in technical skills including CADD and Surveying.
  • Opportunities to support the project team in administrative delivery of projects as it relates to the field of construction.

Job Requirements:

What you will bring:

  • A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Construction Management is an asset.
  • Experience with contract administration and on-site inspection principles, practices, and techniques is an asset.
  • Prior experience with a consulting firm is an asset.
  • Prior experience in Surveying with RTK and Total Station technology is an asset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Committed team player and the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel out of town for short or longer duration assignments.
