JOB BRIEF:

Our client is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Middle East Field Engineer - Fire Suppression Systems to join their dedicated Firetec Division team in the Middle East. As a Field Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting their clients in the region, ensuring smooth onboarding of new fire suppression systems, and managing quality control operations with the flexibility to travel at short notice. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in the installation of our advanced “Pre-Engineered” systems and provide valuable insights during the commissioning phase of Firetec Engineered Flood Systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven technical experience in the field of Fire Protection within job site environments.
  • Preferable experience with Gaseous Fire Suppression systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the fire protection industry.
  • Previous experience in a senior site engineering or project management capacity is highly desirable.
  • Residency and employment in the UAE is a mandatory prerequisite.

  • Experience in traveling across the UAE and GCC countries for field visits.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for installation, witness testing & commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of fire protection equipment at commercial sites like oil & gas fields, hotels, and other facilities.
  • Provide remote support to clients for the onboarding of new fire suppression systems.
  • Manage quality control aspects of the business, including the ability to travel at short notice.
  • Perform physical installations of “Pre-Engineered” systems as required.
  • Offer advisory services during the commissioning of Firetec Engineered Flood Systems.
  • Conduct training sessions for clients on Service and Maintenance best practices.
  • Be prepared to work in remote areas and occasionally stay on-site during project implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with the client’s site management team.
