About You
You will report to T&C manager and be part of construction team. You are responsible to provide technical support for testing and commissioning team of Otis lifts, escalators and dumbwaiters for all projects and technical training for testers to raise their technical competencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safety – Ensure WWJSSS implementation on site, and product safety are being checked and adhered to
  • Quality – Implements and maintains all ISO 9000 procedures
  • Technical –
  • Provide technical support for testers when needed
  • Responsible to perform independently and to delegate tasks effectively as necessary to make sound decisions
  • Responsible for ensuring that systems and software are functioning properly and meeting quality standards, including the knowledge and relevant skills for troubleshooting
  • Possess relevant knowledge in programming and software integration and updating. Ensuring the functions of EMS, BMS, and DCS for commissioning
  • Liaise with regional field engineer and factory engineer
  • Trouble shoot technical issues at site
  • Research technical document for the purpose of testing works
  • Audit testers quality work
  • Identify and communicate best demonstrated practice for tester works
  • Identify technical gaps and propose training program and materials for testers
  • Conduct technical training for testers
  • Support the team to reduce the call back during the Quality Observation Period

Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree in Engineering discipline
  • Minimum 5 years’ similar experiences as field engineer, testing engineer, or equivalent in the lift industry
  • Possess strong technical knowledge of testing works & troubleshooting of lifts and escalators
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Words, PowerPoint and Excel for technical report
  • Strong passion to train and raise the technical competencies of the testers
