JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Field Engineer Scheduling Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient deployment of our video telematics solutions across various projects in the US, UK, and Ireland. Your responsibilities will include managing resources, supplier relationships, completion administration, handling charges, and raising purchase orders. You will also be responsible for communicating with internal stakeholders and interacting with customers to ensure their needs are met effectively.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Previous experience in scheduling, resource management, or project coordination, preferably in the technology or engineering industry.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software or tools, as well as Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Outlook).
  • Knowledge of geographic regions covered (USA, UK, and Ireland) is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Flexibility to accommodate shift patterns to support US operating hours and occasional after-hours or weekend scheduling requirements.
  • Prince2 or other project management qualification is desirable but not essentia

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the scheduling of field engineers for deployment and maintenance activities on US-based projects, with occasional support for UK & Irish projects.
  • Manage resource allocation to ensure optimal utilisation and efficient project execution.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
  • Coordinate with customers to confirm appointment times, provide updates on engineer availability, and address any scheduling conflicts or issues.
  • Administer completion documentation and manage related processes efficiently.
  • Handle charge and purchase order raising in accordance with company procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any issues or concerns.
  • Interact with customers to understand their requirements, address queries, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with field service engineers to provide clear instructions, relay customer requirements, and confirm the completion of service tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including scheduling details, engineer availability, and customer communication.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support, sales, and technical departments, to ensure seamless coordination of field service activities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes, streamline operations, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to field service scheduling and dispatch.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
