Description:

On behalf of a leading supplier of building and hardware supplies in the Munster region,
we are sourcing a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive to join the high-performing and self-motivated team.
As a Sales Executive, you will report directly to the Sales Director and play a crucial role in maintaining and growing relationships with existing and new customers, selling the entire range of products including consumables, hardware/DIY, building materials, paints, hand & power gardening tools, steel and more.
An ideal candidate will be an experienced salesperson who enjoys talking to people and contributing to the strategic goals of the business.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Min 2 years of previous field sales experience in a similar industry.
  • Experience in the building and hardware industry an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination skills.
  • Quick learner with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Full, clean driving license.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct outbound sales calls and in-person meetings with potential and existing customers, showcasing our range of building and hardware supplies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in the Limerick, Cork and Kerry regions.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities within designated regions, driving growth for the company.
  • Provide expert product knowledge and advice to customers, assisting them in finding the right solutions for their construction and renovation needs.
  • Engage in direct sales efforts, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, contributing to the achievement of individual and team targets.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Address customer inquiries promptly and accurately, providing information on product availability, pricing, and promotions.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, new product releases, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track sales activities, and generate reports for analysis.
  • Coordinate with other departments, particularly logistics, to ensure a seamless customer experience and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
