Now, we’re gearing up to expand our presence across Germany, and we want YOU to join our crew!
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Manager (Aussendient-Leiter/in) to join our fantastic team in Hamburg and identify new business and activation opportunities within the Out of home and grocery Channel in Germany.

IN MORE DETAIL, THIS MEANS…

  • Lead, manage, and develop the field sales team. Setting up the team initially, coaching them, supporting goal setting and performance
  • Further establish and grow relationships with retail stores (independent or as part of national retail brands) to unlock distribution and visibility opportunities to drive brand growth in Germany
  • Working closely with the team to deliver Germany sales and profit targets with full ownership and management of the field sales budget
  • Plan and negotiate agreements with wholesalers supporting the distribution opportunities the field sales team can unlock.
    The job description is not exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake other duties in line with their ability and the changing needs of the business.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years experience in FMCG field sales
  • Strong negotiation, communication skills, and high energy levels
  • Direct managerial experience with the ability to lead and manage a remote team
  • Proven track record of strong business acumen- relationship management, financial management, customer focus, drive for results
  • Passion to challenge the status quo, find new solutions, and drive out-of-the-box ideas
  • Not afraid to actively engage with the team and dive into the day-to-day operations when needed
  • Power user of MS 365 Suite
  • Willingness to travel around Germany

Responsibilities:

  • An exciting opportunity to lead and establish a strategically important area of opportunity for Vita Coco
  • Designing, recruiting and leading a field sales team to drive distribution and visibility in Hypermarkets, Supermarkets and independent stores in Urban centres in Germany
  • Setting and delivering a market-leading field sales strategy and approach to improve our listings and presence in key urban centres in Germany
