About the role
As a Field Service Engineer in the Customer Service department, you will make a direct contribution to our machines and printing systems. You will focus on the needs of our customers and convince them with your commitment and excellent communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Troubleshooting and performing corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Support during customer acceptance of our systems (FAT)
  • Worldwide installation of digital printing and personalization systems
  • Carrying out acceptance tests of our systems after installation together with our customers (SAT)
  • Carrying out operator, supervisor, and technical service training for and at our customers
  • Support of our customer service back-office team
  • Technical support at trade fairs or exhibitions

The position is based in Belgium but will require regular travel in France and across Europe, with opportunity for travel overseas.

What you need to be successful

  • Completed vocational training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, industrial electrician, or mechanic with additional knowledge in electrical engineering
  • Strong technical background
  • Basic knowledge in using Siemens, Beckhoff and other PLC systems
  • Experience in the field of repair, maintenance, installation, and service of machines/systems and special machines
  • Good PC knowledge in the area of software installation in the Windows environment
  • Fluency in English and French, spoken and written
  • Car driving license (EEA Class B)
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (80%)
