QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Completed technical training in the areas of industrial mechanics, mechatronics engineering or agricultural machinery mechanics with relevant experience.
- The ability to systematically approach technical questions and problems
- Proven hands-on experience working with industrial equipment with strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to diagnose and repair equipment issues accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work independently and efficiently under pressure to meet service deadlines.
- Valid Class B German driver’s license.
- Fluent German speaking and writing, basic English knowledge.
- Good knowledge of MS Office programs

Responsibilities:
They are looking to strengthen their dedicated service team by hiring a skilled engineer or technician to support their customers across Germany. This opportunity would suit some who has completed technical training in industrial mechanics, mechatronics or electrical engineering and is looking to take their first step into a service position.
This person will play a critical role in providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for their biotechnology, pharmaceutical and chemical machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Perform preventive mechanical and electrical maintenance, inspections, and repairs on complex electromechanical systems across Germany to ensure they operate efficiently and reliably, minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment lifespan.
- Install new systems and equipment at customer sites, commissioning equipment and conducting performance tests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, service requests, and follow-up communication, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports, parts inventory, and customer communication, to track service history, document work performed, and support billing/invoicing.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and product enhancement based on customer feedback and service experiences, collaborating with internal teams to implement changes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Determination of investment requirements during service calls, independent and responsible decisions as to when the next inspection or replacement of spare parts will be planned in a timely manner and carried out at the customer’s site.
- Adhere to safety protocols, regulations, and company policies while performing service activities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
- Stay updated on product developments, technical advancements, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development activities, maintaining proficiency in centrifuge technology and service procedures.
