EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, biology, chemistry or related field or equivalent work experience and knowledge.
- Masters-level degree in related field (eg. Biomedical engineering, etc.) preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE:
- Hands on experience with qPCR or Flow Cytometry preferred
- 3+ years of relevant experience with related science, engineering and/or customer service
- Experience in a clinical, diagnostics and/or another regulated environment preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Valid driver’s license & passport
- Must be eligible to work in Canada via Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid Canadian open work permit
- Bilingual English/French
- Good analytical troubleshooting ability and able to exercise good judgment setting work priorities
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
- Collaborates effectively with other Field colleagues to achieve the team’s collective goals
- Quickly adapts to change with positive attitude and constructive feedback
- Aptitude for learning and understanding IT systems and processes
