Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a market leader in the field of clinical laboratory testing and health information technology products and services – supplying laboratories, hospitals, and healthcare organizations worldwide.
We are looking for individuals with experience in technical servicing of lab or medical equipment.
✔ Willing to commit to 24hrs standby rostering on a weekly rotational basis and be prepared to be activated anytime in the event of technical downtime
✔ Competitive allowances will be given for OT, standby and activations

REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Diploma in Biomedical/Mechatronics/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the IVD market or in technical support/field service experience handling biomedical equipment, medical devices, or related medical products.
  • Must be PC literate and able to provide technical support for IT products.
  • Resourceful with good communication and interpersonal skills, including presentation to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Result-oriented and creative in problem-solving skills.
  • Effective team player as well as able to work independently.Perform 24/7 standby duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction with business’s products through preventive and corrective support functions.
  • Plan corrective and preventive action visits for the customers in Singapore.
  • Provide technical support to local customers in Singapore as required.
  • Adhere to procedures and processes to meet department’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Report issues and customer feedback to supervisor or regional support team monthly.
  • Review and maintain spare parts at own location to support local operations.
  • Guide and mentor new local engineers.
  • Provide 24-hour standby support for local customers on a weekly rotational basis.
