About the job
You will be part of our Field Service team in Australia, but based in Sydney. The main purpose of this position is to execute service on Gasketed Plate Heat Exchangers (GPHE).

Key tasks:

  • Undertaking servicing, performance Audit on Alfa Laval thermal products (GPHE & compablocs) at customer site across Australia.
  • Perform equipment audit at site and preparation of technical reports and generating service sales lead.
  • Identifying upgrade and service opportunities and closely working with Sales / technical team to convert it to business opportunities.
  • Closely work with sales in identifying potential installed base and developing equipment audit plan and ensure timely execution of the project with support of Coordinator and Service operation Management.
  • Conduct training to customer and internal colleagues and participate in techno commercial discussion when required.
  • Perform maintenance services on rotating equipment (HSS and Decanter) at customer sites.
  • Acquire up-to-date technical knowledge about products and applications by participating in eLearning, mentored trainings & collaboration with Central colleagues.
  • Responsible to meet deadlines and set KPI’s for Field service.
  • Receive/gather customer insight and feedback and communicate/act on the same.
  • Effective utilization of Alfa Laval soft tools and service helpdesk

What you know

  • You hold a mechanical educational background in combination with industrial process knowledge and mechanical understanding
  • Experience within GPHE is an advantage but not a demand
  • Driver’s license is a prerequisite for this position
  • Excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written is a prerequisite for this position.
