Responsibilities:

As a Field Specialist Mechanical you will be responsible for:

  • Performing in autonomy some of the Installation and/or Maintenance activities of Turbo Rotating equipment in the Field at Customer Sites.
  • Being responsible to perform minor/major maintenance of equipment following the Service Site Quality Check Lists and procedures.
  • Being the primary contact to work with the Customer Representative and Site Team to coordinate activities at the Customer Job Site.
  • Providing records of all activities accomplished at Customer Site to the Baker Hughes Supervisor and promotes and maintains good team relations.
  • Executing all required responsibilities safely by following all Service applicable processes and procedures.
  • Performing other related duties as required according to the specified scope of work. He/she may be able to provide limited troubleshooting on the equipment under maintenance and/or installation in the Field.
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance to Baker Hughes Core Values (HSE, Quality and Compliance)

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Two-year Technical Degree preferred and industry experience and Turbomachinery Product Services product line training required.
  • Have at least 2yrs of experience with mechanical maintenance procedures for turbo machinery such as gas turbines or centrifugal compressors
  • Have functional / Technical, Customer Focus, Communication, Interpersonal, and Teamworking Skills.
  • Be legally able to work in Canada without sponsorshi

  • Working hours needed by the customer including 50-75% traveling and working 50-60 hours per week when neede
