- Field Service Level 3 certification with a minimum of two years of employment or equivalent experience in previous roles.
- Relevant discipline or industry experience
- Physically fit
- Strong oral and written communication skills (include fluent written English)

- Desirable MDG25 (Safe Cutting & Welding in Mines Awareness Training)
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Seeking a Field Service Technician (Poly Welder), preferably with experience in the mining or civil sectors. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, communicate effectively with managers and onsite personnel, and possess a comprehensive understanding of client’s capabilities and related products. Responsibilities include onsite poly welding, participation in shutdowns or pump crew activities, and workshop duties
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
- Conduct pre-start inspections on all gear before use.
- Participate in risk assessments and job safety analyses as needed.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and follow OHS requirements.
- Report damage, accidents, incidents, and near misses promptly.
- Report vehicle and equipment maintenance needs or damage to management.
- Deliver completed jobs within specified time frames and budgets.
- Liaise with the site supervisor daily to meet daily work scopes and resolve issues.
- Assist with job allocation when possible.
- Perform manual labor tasks as required.
- Use petrol-powered tools such as chainsaws, generators, and whipper snippers.
- Perform poly welding and electrofusion welding.
- Work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Perform hot works, such as grinding or cutting steel.
- Conduct pipe fitting and unblocking pipework.
- Handle effluent pipe works and fabricate poly materials.
- Prepare and review risk assessments.
- Clean the workshop.
- Perform minor repairs on tools and pumps.
- Collaborate with other contractors.
