Responsibilities:

THROUGH OUR GROWTH AND EXPANSION, WE HAVE TWO EXCITING ROLES TO JOIN OUR MELBOURNE FIELD SERVICE TEAM AND ONE ROLE FOR OUR CANBERRA FIELD SERVICE TEAM, DRIVING IN AND OUT ON 4 DAYS WORKING, 3 DAYS OFF ROSTER.

As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing general servicing and repair works in both a workshop-based environment and on-site in various locations including CNG & Hydrogen refueling sites. You will conduct regular checks, preventative maintenance, servicing and repair any faults or issues that may arise. In addition, you will be involved in record keeping, reporting, liaising with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Your role will contribute to the continual improvement of internal processes and the overall success of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to:

  • Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment and systems in both workshop based and site locations.
  • Conduct regular checks and schedule services / maintenance on plant and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Repair and fix any faults or issues with plant and equipment.
  • Maintain records through physical paperwork and online data entry as required.
  • Report faults and issues into the online system.
  • Assist in deliveries and collections where required.
  • Ensure workshop and tool maintenance - ensure service box stock levels are maintained.
  • Responsible for compliance with HSE policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and reporting hazard and near misses.
  • Foster a workforce culture of safety, transparency, accountability, respect, and sustainability.
