Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our Service Mechanics at Pacific Materials Handling are working on the major players in fixed plant and mobile plant equipment.

  • You are provided with the latest tools and technology and on-going specialist training to efficiently manage your days along with the support of the technical manager and local supervisor.
  • This role will be on-the-road, working at our customer sites and in our workshop at Bibra Lake. Some days you will be on the road servicing customers, the next commissioning new equipment in our workshops. No two days will be the same here.
  • We offer great pay rates in line with your experience, overtime penalty rates & on-call allowances, ongoing technical training, a fully maintained service vehicle stocked with everything you need and a supportive supervisor and training manager who will guide and mentor you.

To be successful in this role you will need to have the following:

  • Experience within fixed or mobile plant equipment (or similar areas).
  • Mechanical Trade Certificate (All mechanical trades considered).
  • Current Car Licence.
  • Commitment to safe work practices and good communication skills.
  • Ability and readiness to undergo a pre-employment medical check, drug and alcohol screening and referee checks
