REQUIREMENTS:

• An Australian recognised trade cert III in the following (Heavy Vehicle/Mobile Plant or Light Vehicle)
• Demonstrable experience working on engine reconditioning, repairs and rebuilds
• Good teamwork and communication skills

THE ROLE

As a Field Service Technician operating in the greater Alice Springs region, you will be required to work autonomously as required by our clients. You will perform all manner of repairs, reconditioning and troubleshooting on heavy diesel engines with mining applications. You’ll get the chance to work on a large variety of OEM engines and equipment, learning from established industry professionals. Furthering good relationships with colleagues and customers in the Service Centre means your technical and communication skills will play a key role in success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver a first-class service to our mining customers
• Perform breakdown and preventative maintenance on a variety of mining and mobile plant equipment
• Carry out engine reconditioning services including, stripping, troubleshooting and rebuilds
• Fill out job reports using internal software
• Working on state-of-the-art high horse power diesel engines
