Field Service Technician - Germany
Delve is representing a Dutch manufacturer of high-quality automated analytical analysers used globally in laboratories for environmental, food, agricultural and chemical testing. Established in 1960’s the company has grown into an international powerhouse with subsidiaries and representatives in over 60 countries. They now employ around 200 people, most of whom are based at their HQ in the Netherlands where their research & development, manufacturing, and international sales and after-sales support teams are based.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a technician to the existing global service team of around 50 dedicated technicians. This opportunity would be perfect for someone who has experience as a chemical laboratory assistant or chemical technician and is looking for a career outside of the lab.

TRAVEL

This person will be travelling around 80% of the time, both nationally and internationally – we are looking for someone who has the freedom to travel and enjoys being customer-facing.

• The installation and commissioning of analyser instruments at customer laboratories across Germany
• Training of customers in analyser operation & maintenance
• Carrying out routine preventative maintenance visits
• Responding to emergency service call-outs and repairs
• Fault diagnosis and resolution using both mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Providing full written reports on activities
