FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in equipment installation/troubleshooting/technical support.
  • Completed Post Secondary Education from an accredited college/university.
  • Certifications for various HP and Epson hardware/software an asset.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Personal Vehicle for travel to customer locations for service calls. (Car Allowance and Gas Card provided for work purposes)
  • Valid Passport and ability to travel throughout Canada and the United States.
  • Previous experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Advanced/fluent skill levels of French required.

Responsibilities:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Deliver post start up customer support relating to equipment operation and process performance.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on company product lines.
  • Provide advice in returning equipment to optimal performance.
  • Inspect, install, troubleshoot, replace parts, and refurbish equipment to ensure equipment quality and performance to specifications.
  • Responsible for technical advice to customers on methods to optimize equipment operation and process performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment operation and process problems reported by customers.
  • Prepare reports documenting troubleshooting and warranty activities.
  • Participate in the development of corrective actions improving equipment operation and performance.
  • Travel as required to resolve operational or performance issues.
  • Run on-site and remote diagnostics and support customers
