The role of Field Service Technician with HMPS Group involves delivering a variety of field services to HMPS and Propac Industrial customers including servicing, repairs, installations, commissioning, training, and equipment modifications.

DESCRIPTION:

As the ‘boots on the ground’, customer facing expert in HMPS Group machinery, Field Service Technician, you will:

  • Perform routine maintenance and scheduled repairs as per established schedules.
  • Attend breakdowns promptly, utilising problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions.
  • Undertake new equipment installations with precision and expertise.
  • Execute enhancements and updates to existing machinery to enhance functionality.
  • Communicate transparently and promptly with clients and internal teams.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure seamless delivery of customer service.
  • Embrace travel opportunities, including local and potential interstate assignments.

Responsibilities:

  • Possess a Mechanical Trade qualification.
  • A-Grade or Restricted Electrical License is desirable.
  • Previous experience as field service technician, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery required.
  • Experience in the packaging industry with demonstrated proficiency in supporting high-speed production machinery is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) is advantageous.
  • Customer-focused mindset, demonstrating the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with self-motivation and a results-oriented work approach.
  • A valid current driver’s license and willingness to travel both locally and interstate is essential for the role.
