THE OPPORTUNITY
Leavitt Machinery is looking for a Field Technician to join our team in London, Ontario. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Technician will be assigned to critical machinery repair tasks required by our loyal customers.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge, and competencies:
- Driver’s license required
- Possession of a 310S Automotive Technician, 310T Truck Technician, or a 282E Powered Lift Truck Technician certification an asset
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with external customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to travel to customer sites within the local region

Responsibilities:
As the Field Technician your key responsibilities will include:
- Perform planned maintenance and safety inspections on a variety of material handling equipment
- Conduct tasks assigned from the Dispatcher, maintaining communication and providing updates as needed
- Adequately diagnose and repair heavy machinery and lift equipment as required by customers
- Actively communicate with the Parts department via phone or email to ensure required parts are ordered
- Maintain proper documentation as needed
