Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Diploma/ Degree in similar field with at least 3-5 years hands-on experience in pest control as a Pest Technician or similar field
  • NEA certified/ licensed or equivalent certifications
  • Prior experience in delivering trainings and good knowledge of training pedagogy
  • Strong ability to get buy in and engage your audience
  • Possess excellent communication & presentation skills

Responsibilities:

  • Determine the training requirements for various teams.
  • Develop training materials including video tutorials, guidelines, and SOPs
  • Determine instructional methods such as individual training, online, face-to-face, demonstrations, meetings, and workshops
  • Customer service training as well as personal development for employees
  • Foster the highest level of customer service both internally and externally to contribute to customer growth and satisfaction.
  • Field Training New Pest Specialists – conduct on-the-job training with new hires during their first 6 weeks and ensure completion of weekly Field Training Checklist.
  • Peer Support for New Pest Specialists – conduct weekly check-ins and monthly meet-ups with new hire during their first year and complete associated documentation for records.
  • Additional Job Duties: As Certified Field Trainer As Peer Support
  • Develop solid working relationship with Trainee
  • Be available by phone (or text) to answer questions from Trainee
  • Help shape expectations for Trainee as they go through the different phases of training and on boarding
  • Help them make a successful transition from Trainee to productive employee
  • Communicate any concerns / issues to Trainee’s Manager
