THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the NPI Supervisor, Pilbara Minerals is seeking a motivated and experienced electrical technician to maintain and repair all onsite non processing equipment and buildings equipment to a high standard to ensure safe, reliable equipment within approved budgets.
This is a permanent full-time position which operates on a FIFO 8/6, 8/6, 7/7 roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Electrical repairs and statutory requirements throughout the Villages.
  • General repairs to all non-processing infrastructure amenities.
  • Carry out electrical and maintenance project work including liaising with contractors required onsite to assist with any works.
  • Ensure that all electrical work complies with statutory requirements and standards including completion of the Site Electrical Logbook as required.
  • Ensure your own safety and health at work and that of your work mates and in respect to safety always follow instructions given by your employer.
  • Become familiar with and comply to safety policies and procedures.
  • Report all hazards and incidents on occurrence and never walk past an unsafe act or condition.
  • Participate with your work teams to improve and sustain a positive safety culture across the organization.
  • Able to assist with planning works, obtaining quotations, and raising work orders in a small team to assist the supervisor whilst on R&R.
