SHORT DESCRIPTION FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES
NI is hiring a senior level Global Operations Financial Analyst (FP&A). As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be a member of the Global Operations Finance Organization. The role provides you the opportunity to take part in financial analysis work at a multinational company, understand business processes behind the financial data and partnering with our Global Operations business partners, covering functions like Global Inventory Management, Global Manufacturing and Supply Chain, Global Procurement, Global Customer Experience. In this role you will also take part in project assignments supporting internal finance and business processes.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance / Accounting, at least with 4 years of relevant working experience
- Experience managing budgets and forecasts
- Detail-oriented, analytical orientation
- Self drive, proactivity, able to work independently and as a part of a team as well
- Innovative approach
- Able to manage multiple-tasks
- Technical orientation, experiences with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel and Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, good collaboration skills
- Ability to stay organized in a fast paced, complex work environment
- Openness and ability to work in a multicultural and global team environment
- Experience with Oracle (Hyperion) preferred
Responsibilities:
In this position you will be required to understand the financial aspects of Global Operations business processes and have responsibilities in analyzing different financial data and through those support or drive business decisions, partnering with business partners. Main responsibilities are:
- Taking part in analyzing financial data, interpretation of results and its impact on business
- Provide support in decision making process for the Global Operations functional groups:
- create analysis, forecasts, projections
- support reporting needs of Global Operations business partners
- Interact with Global Operations business partners and finance team members
- Provide inputs to month end close or quarterly close
- Ensure controls and procedures are properly followed
- Financially advise on process improvements
- Monitor Global Operations operating expenses versus budget/target
- Support budgeting process of Global Operations functions
- Participate in and support projects or different initiatives
- Improve efficiency, standardization of tools and methods, and documentation
- Develop functional expertise and company knowledge
