Description:

ALAIKA is a Strategy Consultancy focused on Financial Services.
Our vision is to build the leading challenger firm within Financial Services by pairing leading business and technology expertise.
Founded in October 2022 by the EMEA Financial Services Practice Lead Partner of a leading US strategy consultancy and a builder of multiple leading software companies, we already bring together the best of both worlds: Deep functional Financial Services domain expertise/networks, and a track record of how to build and invest into leading software product companies.
To properly advise Fortune 500 Financial Services companies in today’s and tomorrow’s world, we believe in creating a new ecosystem that combines the knowledge of tech, venture, and product building with that of leading financial service domains. This all begins by coupling the right people for the job, which is exactly what we do at ALAIKA.
Our values of OWNERSHIP, INTRINSIC EXCELLENCE, HEARTINESS and TRUST guide us as we grow our team and the company.
Now we want you to join the ALAIKA journey and our team of experts by adding your expertise, in Finance and Accounting, to our Internal Operations team.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a diligent finance professional to join our Munich-based team in a part-time capacity, offering a flexible hybrid work arrangement. This role is ideal for an individual who excels in a fast-paced startup environment and is adept at balancing meticulous financial detail with the broader vision of the company’s financial health.

  • Financial Stewardship: You will support / later oversee the precise execution of financial transactions and maintain the integrity of our financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Your expertise will guide our adherence to tax regulations, ensuring compliance and strategic financial planning.
  • Payroll Administration: You will play a key role in payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for our workforce.
  • Financial Closure: Your responsibilities include facilitating the smooth and accurate closure of our books at month-end and year-end.
