Finance Accounts Clerk (Debtors)

Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Finance Accounts Clerk (Debtors) for a permanent position based in Westville, eThekwini, Durban, Kwazulu Natal.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree/Diploma in a finance related field.
• Experience in financial, administrative, and clerical services.
• 2 years minimum experience in similar role.

Debtors (Domestic):

• Issuing month-end statement to the customers
• Mailing invoices to the customers and resolving query if any arising of them
• Closing domestic sales after receiving proof of delivery
• Help marketing in debit notes/ credit notes to clear the query
• Initiating and conducting a fortnightly meeting to discuss overdue receivable with domestic marketing.
• Helping to resolve customer returns/ query related to price etc.
• Enters all domestic receipts from customers and allocates the funds received to individual invoices

Insurance (Credit Risk):

• Maintaining adequate credit risk insurance for all domestic sales
• Liaising with the insurer should there be an event of default by customer or for adding a new customer
• Monthly declaration of the exposure to the insurer and ensuring monthly premium are calculated correctly.
