SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • CA / CPA qualified
  • Experience working in a global retail organisation
  • Experience Superannuation, Tax and Employee benefit management
  • Experience in import and wholesale/stock management
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders to deliver commercial outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail
  • Great ambition and energy
  • SAP experience (preferred)

Responsibilities:

Reporting into the GM, and collaboratively with Regional office in HK, the Finance Manager will immerse themselves in this broad financial and accounting management position delivering key financial reports including financial statements, sales and margin analysis reports, management reports, annual budgeting and forecasting. The Finance Manager will also play a key role in tenancy agreements and liaising with landlords and lawyers on contract terms & conditions.

  • Preparation and ownership of month end closing
  • Driving continuous improvement activities across systems, processes and internal controls
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Statutory Accounts & handling all tax matters and ensure timely filing and compliance with tax regulations
  • Prepare monthly financial reporting for management;
  • Financial modelling, financial and data analysis to support the local and regional management in making informed decisions for business sustainability and growth
  • Creation and delivery of management reports
  • Participate in business improvement and process improvement projects
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders at GM level
