Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Here at Geomiq we are looking for a Finance Administrative Assistant to join our Finance team and help support our Portugal Office. You will be reporting directly into the Finance and Operations Specialist and working closely with them to ensure Geomiq is streamlined for growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily tasks, including collecting expense invoices for Portuguese accountants to ensure accurate taxation
- Approve supplier payments and gather credit notes for any late fees incurred
- Maintain effective business relationships and communication with suppliers
- Manage the purchasing of essential office supplies and necessities
- Provide required documentation to accountants as requested
- Administer the Portuguese accounting software to ensure all necessary documents are available for VAT returns and year-end processes
