The Hotels Finance team are responsible for the Finance and Strategic leadership of a highly competitive 350+ Hotels business. To be successful, the team focuses on partnering with the business to drive optimal performance whilst maintaining an objective viewpoint and strong financial control framework.
The Finance Analyst will partner with the Hotels Loyalty team to drive the business strategy that deliver the first wave of business reporting and customer insights from the brand new loyalty app, pub +. You’ll work with multiple stakeholders, providing commercial support and guidance through your strong modelling and analytical skills.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Prepare and submit the annual budget and monthly forecast process.
- Produce and distribute weekly and monthly performance reporting, working closely with key stakeholders to identify meaningful customer insights from data sourced via our new loyalty app.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting and commentary is effective and insightful for decision making and supports trade planning and marketing strategies.
- Ownership of month-end process and reporting against budget and forecast, identifying drivers of variances and key opportunities and risks.
- Contributing to regular business performance reviews, helping to identify and resolve poor performance issues and solutions / action plans to address them.
- Lead post campaign analysis providing stakeholders with insights on performance and commercial recommendations.
- Assisting with the continued growth strategy of pub+ by providing financial analysis as well as supporting the preparation of business cases for any additional funding requests (including capital).
- Support business improvement initiatives identified by the leadership team.
- Work across brands and functions, where relevant, to implement best practices and consistent ways of working.
Qualifications
Now let’s talk about you:
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or similar
- CA/CPA Qualification (or working towards).
- Ability to manage timelines effectively.
- Experience using financial systems in a commercial environment e.g. Google Suite, (Sheets, Slides), GCP, Excel.
- Experience with large sources of data, modelling and analytics.
- An ability and passion to work with teams outside of finance to deliver great end to end outcomes.
- Good communication skills and ability in building relationships with stakeholders.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and acquire new skills rapidly and easily.
- Previous experience with a multi-functional team and / or experience in the retail or FMCG sectors, desirable.
