• Preparing, consolidating and reviewing month end closing entries.
• Reviewing revenue/costs at platform, entity and country level .
• Ensuring month end close processes are followed to meet a defined close deadline for financial reporting.
• Preparing variance reporting against forecast and budget, and prior periods.
• Supporting their line manager and team on standardising and improving the SOX control environment.
• Managing queries related to financial accounting and standard reporting.
• Preparing recharge calculations in line with service level agreements held between many of the groups companies.
• Acting as a second pair of eyes review for entries and calculations prepared by other team members.
• Assisting with the provision of Finance business partnering to key stakeholders within the business (Finance and Non Finance).
• Supporting ad hoc project work as required by their line manager and team.
• Supporting the Fixed & Variable team through the preparation of IFRS 16 accounting entries, and the completion of balance sheet reconciliation reviews.
• Liaising with Internal and External auditors for subsidiary and group audits.
• Working collaboratively with International Interactive Revenue & GP and with the Fixed & Variable team – providing support as required.
