Description:

Manabie is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Analyst to join our dynamic global team, based in Singapore. As a Finance Analyst, you will work closely with our finance, operations, and executive teams to support financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A) within a fast-paced and innovative environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. Conducting variance analysis and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities will be crucial to support strategic decision-making.
You will develop financial models and perform scenario analysis to aid in business planning and strategy.
You will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders. Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for cost optimization and efficiency improvements will be part of your routine. Additionally, maintaining and updating financial databases and spreadsheets to ensure data accuracy and integrity will be essential.
Supporting the annual budgeting process, including the preparation of budget templates and coordination with department heads, will be another key responsibility. You will monitor and track budget performance, providing regular updates and variance analysis. Assisting in the development and implementation of forecasting tools and methodologies will also be expected.
As part of your project management duties, you will participate in cross-functional projects, providing financial insights and support. Tracking project timelines, deliverables, and progress, while ensuring alignment with financial goals, will be part of your role. Preparing and maintaining project documentation and reports will also be required.
Effective communication and collaboration will be critical.
You will communicate financial insights and updates to team members and stakeholders. Collaborating with finance, operations, and executive teams to support financial initiatives and projects will be essential. Additionally, you will participate in meetings and provide input on financial planning and analysis activities.
