Job Introduction As a Finance Analyst at Sodexo, you will be a key part of our finance team, contributing to the management and optimisation of our financial performance in the Government Schools sector. This role involves leading financial strategies, managing risks, and supporting growth by working closely with operational teams. This role offers the chance to engage directly in the financial oversight of a significant segment at Sodexo. You will be instrumental in analysing and guiding financial decisions, negotiating contracts, and improving profitability. This position is critical in ensuring that our educational sector clients receive optimal financial solutions that support their objectives and sustainability.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead commercial strategy and manage financial performance of contracts to optimise profits.
  • Negotiate and manage contract terms in line with legal and group procedures to ensure optimum outcomes.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external clients to support financial and operational goals.
  • Responsible for accurate pricing and cost modelling for contracts.
  • Manage changes to contracts and ensure compliance with all governance and reporting requirements.
  • Produce and present financial reports and analyses to senior management.
  • Ensure adherence to financial policies and practices within the segment.

What you bring:

  • Qualified Accountant with relevant experience.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to make sound decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in explaining complex financial information.
  • Experience in contract negotiation and financial compliance.
  • Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide others.
  • Advanced skills in financial software, including Excel and other database tools.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute projects effectively.
