What’s involved?

Reporting to the Head of Accounting & Control key responsibilities will include:

  • Irish Distillers Group Inter-companies
  • Posting of monthly journals (Bonders, Brand Homes, IDL)
  • Maintenance of cost allocation model
  • Preparation of invoices and payment settlements
  • Preparation of IDG matrix reconciliations file including resolution and explanation of all variances
  • Ensuring balances of IDG accounts in SAP are reconciled to the balances on the statutory accounts
  • Pernod Ricard Intercompanies
  • Preparation and reconciliation of all GPR accounts
  • Monthly review of all GPR aged debt listing
  • Supervision and Management of all GPR duties performed by outsourced partner
  • Administration of cashflow monthly reported as related to GPR customer & vendor balances
  • Preparation of the Margin in Stock Reporting
  • Review of the Stock on High Seas Reporting
  • Monthly review of the margin charged by IDL entities
  • Accounting and Internal Control for IDL trading subsidiaries
  • Define, review and systematically improve accounting and internal control processes
  • Interact with IT to examine ways of automating processes and reporting systems
  • Identify critical areas of risk and ensure that all risks are managed accordingly
  • Ensure regulatory compliance (Revenue, CSO etc.)
  • Preparation of the monthly 8 Degrees management accounts
  • Monthly review of all POS GL Accounts
  • Assisting in the year end audit
  • Ad hoc work as required
