Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

If you are a highly motivated individual and are looking to sharpen your financial acumen and get hands-on Financial and Management Reporting experience, this role is for you.
As an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will be working with a talented and diverse team of professionals to assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, contribute to the development and documentation of deliverables, and assist in external research and competitive analysis.
This role is a great opportunity to apply your analytical skills, build an understanding of the largest segment of the Bank, and grow your professional network across Finance, while working alongside seasoned professionals who will guide you.

The primary accountabilities of the candidate include:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly finance deliverables
  • Provide support in the analysis of key financial metrics and performance indicators
  • Develop strong relationships by working closely with key team members
  • Collaborate with team members to gather financial information to support monthly reporting
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and tasks as needed to support the finance team
  • Support external research and competitive analysis

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term
  • Self-motivated individual with a curiosity to learn
  • Proactive self-starter with ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and contribute to a positive workplace culture
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
