Description:
Intro:
We are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst for leading commercial organisation, they have a close knit team of 5 people and this role reports to the Finance Manager.
It’s a fast paced, driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas.
Your responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of the general ledger on a monthly and annual basis to allow the preparation of monthly financial statements
- Responsible with the completion of the balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
- Preparation of weekly reports and trends analysis
- Working closely with the team for budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting
- Preparation of Trial balance each month end.
- Undertake ad hoc projects / duties as required to support the team
What experience will you have:
- 2-3 year’s experience in a similar or related role preferred
- Relevant Accounting / Finance qualifications, CA or CPA helpful
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to use initiative and be proactive
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong work ethic, diligence, integrity
- Detail-oriented and meticulous
