Description:

Intro:
We are currently recruiting a Finance Analyst for leading commercial organisation, they have a close knit team of 5 people and this role reports to the Finance Manager.
It’s a fast paced, driven and collaborative environment, working in the finance division, where the colleagues are engaged, aware, friendly and value encouraging ideas.

Your responsibilities:

  • Overall responsible for ensuring the accurate completion of the general ledger on a monthly and annual basis to allow the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Responsible with the completion of the balance sheet and bank reconciliations on a weekly basis.
  • Preparation of weekly reports and trends analysis
  • Working closely with the team for budgeting, forecasting and month end reporting
  • Preparation of Trial balance each month end.
  • Undertake ad hoc projects / duties as required to support the team

What experience will you have:

  • 2-3 year’s experience in a similar or related role preferred
  • Relevant Accounting / Finance qualifications, CA or CPA helpful
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to manage and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Ability to use initiative and be proactive
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong work ethic, diligence, integrity
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous
