Description:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma / Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
  • At least five years of relevant working experience as a Finance/Accounting Manager
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns
  • Proficient user of finance software
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to management while recommending further courses of action.
  • Prepare consolidated monthly and annual financial statements and reports promptly and accurately.
  • Produce financial reports related to budgets, account payables, accounts receivables, and expenses.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take.
  • Drive digitalization of Finance processes. Develop, streamline, and enhance financial management and reporting processes.
  • Maintain the organization’s financial health. Ensure the company has adequate working capital funding and banking facilities to meet business requirements.
  • Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances, aligning with its long-term goals. Set up, administer, and implement annual budgeting, capital budgeting, corporate development, and cash flow projections.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities to minimize costs and maximize returns.
  • Oversee the finance department’s operations, set goals and objectives, and design a framework for meeting them.
  • Liaising with bankers, investors, financial institutes, tax agents, and external auditors.
  • Ensure financial and business-related legislative compliance is met.
  • Correspond with various other departments, discussing company plans and agreeing on future paths to be taken.
