Finance Assistant Manager (AR & Credit Control)

Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, the Assistant Finance Manager is responsible for a full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Credit Control (CC) Functions with Process Optimization. This includes but is not limited to leading both AR & CC teams on work allocation, training, and problem-solving, evaluating performance, and making recommendations.
What You will be doing:

-PROCESS IMPROVEMENT:

• Initiate to streamline AR & CC processes
• Work closely with the IT team and external vendors to improve processes from a system of finance perspective for BPR PJ
• Referencing the current AR & CC workflow to better improve systems for reporting purposes
• Any other duties as assigned

What We are looking for:

• Minimum a Diploma in Finance or its equivalent
• Professional Certifications in ACCA or LCCI would be ideal
• At least 5 years of Accounts & Credit Control experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) Industry
• Positive working attitude and effective communicator (verbal & written) with a capacity to take initiative
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Competent in Microsoft Applications
• Strong sense of business ownership, leadership, and responsibility
• Able to start work immediately or at short notice would be preferred
