Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this position, you will be responsible for employee reimbursement activities from both operations and audit for Asia Pacific countries. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Responsible for employee reimbursement operations ensuring employee reimbursements processes are adherence with SOX controls, country local legal requirement, Agilent’s Expense Policies and Guidelines.
  • Possess strong audit mindset in performing sample check and verification on submitted employee expense report and receipts to detect for any non-compliance of Agilent’s business controls, policies, procedures and local country tax requirement.
  • Review and analyze employee reimbursement data and understand the drivers of business spend. Able to identify potential issues and opportunities, communicate effectively this information to senior management to strengthen process controls and reduce opportunity for collusion and fraud.
  • Able to communicate and attend to employees’ calls and emails; ensure proper follow up until closure.
  • Involve and support employee reimbursement projects not limited to process improvements but any ad-hoc project.
  • Be responsible to close any audit issues, both internal & external audits and SOX related audits.
  • Ensure proper & timely escalation of issues to supervisor or management team.

. Engage in ad-hoc project and tasks such as continuous process improvements and digitalization.

  • Ability to follow instructions and clearly defined objectives.
  • Fast learner for both processes and systems.
  • Maintains compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or equivalent Professional qualification.
  • Knowledge of SAP / Concur is an added advantage.
  • Self-starter, flexible to change and ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Be flexible, easily adapt to changes and comfortable in dealing with different level of people.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
