QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree or professional accreditation certificates in accounting.
- More than 5 years of experience in finance/accounting, preferably in the financial industry
- Strong financial reporting skills are essential, and with audit background preferred
- Independent, and self-motivated individual with hands-on experience.
- Team player with positive attitude and proactive approach to work with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Ability to thrive in a start-up environment, taking initiatives, managing supervisory responsibilities, and navigating through challenges.
- Fluency in Mandarin is required for effective communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Play a pivotal role in the accounting operations of the fund management company and oversight of operating companies and investments
- Manage the accounting operations including month end accruals, and monthly review, prepare monthly management reports and closing for the financial year
- Review full set of accounts and schedule and liaise with outsource accounting team for accounting issues, adjustment and other matters
- Assist with performing of annual budget and forcast analysis
- Manage and monitor cash flow and payment matters
- Assist with compliance reporting for Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), ensuring the company meets all regulatory requirements.Any other duties as assigned
