Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA is an asset
  • 3+ years experience in accounting and financial planning. Working capital experience is an asset.
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in using SAP. Anaplan software is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Ability to travel between Brampton and Toronto offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly reporting to monitor and analyze working capital results (Finished Goods, Packaging, Raw Materials, and Plant Spare Parts)
  • Monthly financial statement preparations and reviews, inclusive of journal entry preparation, postings, detailed variance analysis and explanations.
  • Review and analyze monthly Copack gross profit analysis.
  • Develop annual budgeting plans and rolling estimates, with detailed analysis and preparation of management presentation decks.
  • Bottoms-up build of Copack pricing by sku for our partner brands, incorporating key impacts such commodities and service fees.
  • Build and enhance existing financial tools to improve reporting and analysis for increased efficiency through automation and innovation.
  • Identify, lead and execute process improvement initiatives, including enhancements to Anaplan modules (Enterprise Resource Planning software, used for interactive planning & forecasting)
