Description:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA is an asset.
- 2+ years’ experience in accounting, financial analysis, and costing.
- Excellent working knowledge of advanced Excel functionality. Knowledge of Access is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in using SAP. Anaplan software is an asset.

Responsibilities:
- Perform month-end closing activities (journal entries, accrual analysis) for Supply Chain Transportation & review P&L results
- Prepare rolling estimates/forecasts of operating expenses
- Annual Budgeting of Transportation P&L (labour, common carriers, overheads, etc)
- Automate existing processes to drive innovation and efficiency
- Prepare Key Business Indicators (KBI) and analysis for action by Senior Management
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain operational partners to collectively drive business results
- Analysis and presentations to senior management and stakeholders
- Analyze financial results for productivity savings initiatives and continuous improvement
- Identify, lead and execute process improvement initiatives, including enhancements to Anaplan modules (Enterprise Resource Planning software, used for interactive planning)
