FINANCE BUSINESS PARTNER ( 9 MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT) – DUBLIN/HYBRID
Our client, a prominent player in the aviation industry, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their Finance Business Partnering team. With a focus on enhancing business performance and fostering strategic collaborations, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial management of critical operations in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
As a Financial Business Partner focusing on Airport Operations, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of Airport User Charges, encompassing a range of cost components. This role involves engaging in strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and investment oversight.
YOUR SKILLS
- Qualified accountant with relevant previous experience in a financial analyst or FP&A role.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience collaborating with non-financial stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and IT systems; familiarity with SAP and reporting tools such as Hyperion or Cognos is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate trust and collaboration while negotiating with airports and suppliers on contractual matters, ensuring alignment with short, medium, and long-term business goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities, encompassing both Operating Expenditure (OPEX) and Capital Expenditure (CAPEX).
- Evaluate investment proposals and business cases, providing comprehensive financial assessments to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with functional management to identify and implement revenue enhancement and cost optimisation initiatives, addressing commercial challenges and operational efficiencies.
- Champion cost reduction initiatives and synergies across the organisation, tracking performance metrics and providing insights to senior leadership.
- Develop structured KPIs and business reviews, offering forward-looking analyses and actionable recommendations to drive business growth and profitability.
- Provide in-depth analysis and interpretation of financial results, guiding strategic and tactical decisions at the senior leadership level.
