Job Summary
The role will be responsible for financial and commercial management of key EVP level stakeholders for a dedicated function. The candidate will have overall responsibility for function’s cost and capex, budgeting and forecasting, reporting, variance analysis, insightful commentary, controlling, cost models and Recharge cost lines including capitalised labour and intercompany recharges.
Job Description

Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Key stakeholder management (at EVP and VP level) for function. Building effective relationships needed to influence and aid in decision making.
  • Work with the different functions EVP’s to develop and implement the strategy, whilst improving productivity, delivering transformation and profitability to drive business unit performance.
  • Understand, anticipate and deliver internal and external customer needs.
  • Controllership of the monthly PandLs for the corporate functions - accountability of the full cost base of the functions including fixed costs, capital expenditure and supporting insight, whilst supporting all commercial activity.
  • Act as a commercial finance lead and contribute to negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • Challenge the current ways of thinking and define innovative ways of working to best serve our customers and the business.
  • Communicate effectively in a regional and divisional matrix structure to ensure Colt delivers targets.
  • Identify, analyse and implement opportunities via the quarterly RandO’s and solutions to drive business performance.
  • Partner with leadership to add value to decision making, whilst exhibiting exceptional analysis and insight to influence and have a real positive impact on the performance of the business.
  • Use data and fact-based analysis to anticipate needs and provide insights to the business for competitive decision making.
  • Work with the FPandA and the business to provide insight and support the delivery of month end, forecasts and budgets.
  • Finance support on Ad hoc projects across function relating to all operating cost, capex and TLR queries.
