This is a new key dedicated role within the Global Quality & Operations (GQO) Finance team, an approximate $1B operation including capital expenditure with significant strategic ambitions, across a network of 8 plants world-wide. Acting as co-pilot to the VP of Direct Procurement and External Manufacturing, your key accountability is to partner with your business partner to drive performance outcomes against plans, forecasts, and strategic objectives. The Direct Procurement & External Manufacturing Team has an annual procurement budget of ~ $370m. It is our single largest opportunity to drive productivity gains year on year within GQO. This is an individual contributor role, which may or may not have line manager responsibilities in the future and reports to the VP Finance GQO. You will be a trusted and relied upon partner, respected for your commercial acumen and your ability to provide succinct but powerful alanlysi and recommendations, with actionable insight.
You will be the face of Finance for your business stakeholders, connecting them, where appropriate, with your finance colleagues within Plant Finance Teams, GBS or the wider Finance team to solve the problems that don’t fall within the accountabilities of the FBP e.g., statutory accounting, tax and controlling activities. You will be an advocate for the Finance Service Delivery Model, helping your stakeholders understand the new ways of working in Finance.
You will be a leader within the Finance organization, pro-actively sharing your business knowledge and commercial acumen with Plant Finance Teams and GBS FP&A team members to build enduring capability for our GQO Team.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Position may require travel from time to time (maximum 15%) – visiting new suppliers, plants and external manufacturing partners.
